After choreographing the revolutionary musical »EDSA« at the Manila Metropolitan Theater, he decided to settle on the Philippine island of Palawan where he continues to explore his creative spirit by working as an architectural designer and as a mentor to young artists.

He also played the lead in »Pinocchio« and »Gingerbreadman« for young audiences in Germany and Austria. His work with the modern dance group »TanzTheaterWien« inspired him to teach dance and work as a choreographer in his own right. The first solo pieces »Don’t look away« and »Rhythm of Life« (the latter to the music of Pink Floyd) won him great critical acclaim at the choreographer’s competition in Vienna. The One-Man Show »That’s Me« as well as a number of jazzdance shows such as »Perform(d)ance«, »Broadway Here I Come« and »Dancin’ Like a Crazy Coconut« were soon to follow and kept him spreading his talents in various directions.


Dancer, actor and choreographer ever since the early 70s, Hans-Christian Wagner trained in jazz ballet, modern dance and acting in Vienna, Munich, London, and New York with Lola Braxton, Samy Molcho, William Milie, Larry Fuller, Matt Mattox, Arlene Philipps, Luigi, Jojo Smith and John Sharpe (former assistant to Bob Fosse).
He has changed the way fashion was presented on a catwalk and created a new style of shows for such labels as Cerutti 1881, Daniel Hechter, Kenzo, Jockey – and Adidas (the latter in Moscow,
Russia). He choreographed a tour for »Charles of the Ritz« and for the hair styling brands L’Oreal and Wella International. From joining the Eurovision Song Contest with WESTEND in 1983 to his final
personality-show »EXIT« Hans-Christian Wagner has been successfully performing all around the globe.
Hans-Christian taught at the European Arts Club in Greece, at Danceworks in Auckland, New Zealand, as well as at the College of Performing Arts in Melbourne, Australia, The Cultural Center
of the Philippines, the Metropolitan Theater Manila and many more. Hans-Christian Wagner also ran his own dance studio »The Girls and Boys Dance Studio« for a number of years in Vienna, Austria.
Hans-Christian Wagner performed leading parts in the musical »Gigi« in Berlin, in the musical »Mayflower« (choreographed by Amadeo) at Vienna’s famous Theater an der Wien, as well as
in  »West Side Story« at the Summer Festival in Bregenz.  Moreover, he has been touring Germany with the musical »Can Can«, went on tour in the Netherlands and Spain with the Helen Leclerque Dance Company, performed with the French company ALTER EGO in Milan and Rome and joined the avant-garde night-theatre »Ludus Interruptus« by the Iranian composer Irais Shimi.
His range of acting experience spans from Molière’s »Le Bourgeois Gentilhomme « under the direction of Jean- Louis Barrault (at the Vienna Burgtheater) to the Shakespeare-Collage »Spiele der Mächtigen« (Games of the Mighty) by Giorgio Strehler at the Salzburg Summer Festival.
